How Do You Make A Crocheted Bridle For A Toy Horse?
This article will show you how to make a simple crocheted bridle for a toy horse. Essentially a bridle is made up of a small loop for the nose attached to a longer main loop/strap that goes behind the ears. A larger loop is also attached to the main strap, and it rests above the eyes and under the throat. Make a slip knot on the crochet needle. Chain about 15 stitches (make a loop around the head of the needle and slip the previous knot over it). Stick needle through beginning of work and continue chaining stitches until you’ve got enough to attach the first loop around the nose of the toy horse and loop the rest of the chains around the back of the ears. When the chain is long enough, stick the head of the needle through the stitches of the nose loop on the opposite side of the other strap. Once it is secured, make a knot and cut the remaining yarn leaving a short tail. To add the strap that will go above the eyes, insert the needle 2/3 of the way up the main strap and begin chaining
