How Do You Make A Crayon Box?
When the storage solutions we choose for our children’s art supplies are easy to use, it’s more likely that the supplies will actually be put away neatly. Here is a project for making a crayon box that is not only an effective storage container, but a great project to keep your children busy. With the cardboard box from the plastic sandwich bags you probably use in the kitchen, some duct tape, and some brightly colored stickers you and your children can make this crayon box in very short order. Remove the perforated opening of the sandwich bag box completely. Cover the entire box with the clear duct tape to reinforce the box. Make sure to loop the tape around the opening of the box to completely seal the raw edges of the box. Give the round stickers to your kids and let them decorate the box. The idea is to completely cover the box with these brightly colored stickers to make it fun and bright. Place crayons in the box for easy storage and easy access.
