Create a level, ample and sturdy work space with storage for crafting and sewing from a few simple materials. Many crafters function best when supplies are organized, within reach and easily seen. Those who like to sew may want to keep their sewing machines up and on a work table, ready to use when working on a craft project. Storage space shelves on and below the craft table adds to the crafter’s ability to store fabric, papers, notions, embellishments and crafting tools. Place the two-drawer file cabinets near a wall or space where the crafter will be working, arranged so that there are two at each end of an area a little smaller than the size of the wood door. The placement can be against a wall or away from a wall so the crafter can move around the table when working. Place the wood door on top of the file cabinets. Rearrange the placement of the file cabinets so they are side by side and the drawers are easily accessible under the table. Make sure the door is balanced well on top
