Once your craft is finished, you can use your bee hive to store loose change or cookies. You can make your craft out of a clay pot and some macrame rope. Not only is this a fun project, but it can be a useful decoration that you can keep for years to come. Glue the macrame rope all around the terra cotta saucer. Start at the bottom and work your way up until the entire saucer is covered with rope. Paint the wooden ball with the gold paint. Let it dry and glue it to the center of the bottom of the saucer. This will now be the bee hive lid. Hot glue the rope to the terra cotta pot. Do it the same way you glued the rope onto the saucer. Start from the bottom and work your way to the top.
