How Do You Make A Cover-Up For A Cone-Shaped Air Freshener?
Creating a cover-up for a cone-shaped air freshener is a great way to dress up a boring plastic deodorizer and add decor to your home. Cover-ups can be made to match any room in the house or as a cute character for holiday decorating. Crafting can be done by children or adults. This simple farmer cover-up will give you the basic pattern instructions for creating many other designs. Cut the leg off of an old pair of adult size blue jeans. Cut along one seam to open the leg and lay it with the wrong side up on your work surface. Remove the cone top from the air freshener base by simply pulling it straight up. Lay the cone on it’s side and place it on the jean fabric. Roll it one full cone rotation, making sure it does not overlap the seams. When you are satisfied with the placement, rotate again and use a marking pen to mark the denim at the top and bottom of the cone as you roll. This will create the pattern to cover your cone. Add an inch to the rotation of the cone shape for overlap.
