A coin purse requires few materials to make. Measure and mark four blocks of material 4-inches long by 4-inches wide. Draw cutting lines on each piece and cut the squares with scissors. Pin the right side of the coin purse material and the right side of the lining material together. Stitch three sides of the block together, using a ½-inch seam allowance. Turn the square right-side out and push the corners out. Make the coin purse’s top edge by tucking ½ inch of the outer material and lining inside the block. Hold the seam together on the outside of the purse with straight pins and make a top stitch ¼ of an inch from the edge of the turned material. Use a matching or contrasting thread color. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to make the second coin purse square. Place the two squares together with lining facing lining and join the
