Coaster frames are fun project for scrappers and other crafters. Who would have thought these cardboard protectors could be used to create a beautiful photo frame? Coasters can be purchased in all shapes and sizes. Blank coasters work best but if they have a pattern don’t worry because your scrapbook paper will cover them up. Cut the scrapbook paper in the dimensions of your coaster. For example if you have a 4-by-4 square coaster then you will cut your paper in a 4-by-4 square so that you cover the coaster completely. If you are using hinges for your coaster frame then you will want to punch your holes and put the hinges on to connect two or three coasters before you cover the coasters with the base paper. It looks better when the hinges are covered. Once you have cut your paper then you are ready to glue on your paper base. Liquid glue, tape runners or glue dots are all adhesive options.
