This old-time folk art style Santa Claus pin made from a cinnamon stick is fun and easy to make! They are a great inexpensive gift to give and you’re sure to get compliments on the novel idea. Red Paint: Paint the cinnamon stick from the top down 1/2″, go around the whole stick. Leave a 1/2″ unpainted below that area, then paint 1-1/2″ down the stick and let dry. Tan/Flesh Tone Paint: Paint a small circle for the face in the unpainted area between the red areas already painted. Let dry. White Paint: Dab white paint around tan circle, above and below for Santa’s hair and beard. Let dry. Black Paint: Put two dots for the eyes on tan face. Below his beard paint a black belt on the red area. Gold Paint: Paint a gold belt buckle on the black belt. Let dry. Hot glue the pin back onto the back of the cinnamon stick Santa. Let the glue dry. Wrap it up for a present!
