Here’s a flower pot that is truly original and you can make it yourself in one afternoon. These are great for growing herbs indoors. The wonderful aroma of cinnamon makes them fantastic for hanging plants in your windows. Hang an ivy or spider plant and see how many compliments you get on your new flower pot. Cut an empty plastic milk carton or plastic coffee can right under the handle. Wash it out with warm dish soap and water and dry well. Paint the outside and halfway down the inside with a brown paint that is made for plastic. Measure around the outside of the plastic container and lay out the cinnamon sticks to the same measurement. This is the amount of sticks you will need to complete your project. You can make them all the same length or have them random lengths, but they have to be at least as tall as the container.
