How Do You Make A Cinnamon Stick Candle?
Candles add a nice touch to any home decor; they provide fragrance and create an inviting atmosphere for your family and guests. You can make your own scented candles for the holidays or anytime. Using cinnamon sticks creates a lovely scent and makes your candles unique. Cut the cinnamon sticks to the height of the candle. Be sure they are not longer than the candle, so they don’t catch fire when the candle is lit. Glue a cinnamon stick onto the side of the candle so its bottom is flush with the bottom of the candle. Let dry. Glue the rest of the cinnamon sticks around the candle, fitting them close together. Let each one dry before adding the next. Tie a piece of raffia around the candle, creating a bow. Place a drop of glue at the back of the raffia so it doesn’t slip off the candle. Let dry. Place the candle on the glass dish. This keeps wax from getting on the table when the candle is lit.
