This angel Christmas ornament is a nice way to recycle those piled up old advertising CDs or CDs you are not sure what to do with. Instead of throwing them out or sticking them in a drawer to pile up, make angels out of them. This is a craft for older kids or adults as a power tool, hard cutting and sharp edges are involved in the project. Make a bunch of them to put on your own Christmas tree or give them as simple creative homemade gifts. Cut three triangular pieces of CD and two arm pieces about ¼ inch to 3/8 inch wide and about 1 inch to 1 ½ inches long. Cut the triangular pieces from the edge to just before the hole in the middle. One side will be rounded from the outer curve of the CD. You will need good strong large scissors to cut through the CD. Cut slowly too so you don’t crack the pieces as you cut them out.
