Every year I try to teach my students about different holidays that are international. This year we chose the Chinese New Year unit and decided to culminate it with a dragon parade. Once you cut the facial features out glue in place on the brown paper bag and let dry . Next rollout the long rolls of white paper and begin decorating scales of all colors or fur of all colors. When you are done designing begin gluing on the tall empty cardboard paper rolls for legs and hold on spots. Strategically place these so the tail slightly bends in the center. If you wish to extend it for a long distance use two or three rolls of white paper and more cardboard paper rolls to balance it.
