Shortly before Halloween, your child may beg you to buy him the latest cheaply made, expensive costume at your local department store. And who can blame you if you decide to buy the costume, considering your busy schedule. But before you give into his pleas, remember that there are plenty of ways to create a unique Halloween costume yourself while only spending a fraction of what most factory produced costumes cost. A funny costume that requires very little work is a child’s frog costume. Cut out two large circles, about 3 inches in diameter, from a piece of cardboard. Using the cardboard cut-outs, trace four circles onto green felt. Draw two circles, about an inch smaller in diameter than the previous circles, onto white felt.
