How Do You Make A Chi Chi?
Hawaiians have their own version of the pina colada called the Chi Chi. It’s made with vodka instead of rum. After you’ve had a chi chi or two, you won’t care whether you’re in Cincinnati or on Oahu. Step 1 Cut tops off pineapples and discard. Remove the center core of fruit to leave hollow drinking “glass.” Refrigerate pineapple that you remove. Step 2 Into blender, pour pineapple juice, coconut syrup, vodka, cream and ice. Blend until smooth consistency. Step 3 Garnish with cherries and pineapple chunks, if desired. Serve with straws.
