How Do You Make A Cheerleader Halloween Costume?
Dress up as a cheerleader this Halloween to show support for a favorite team or just for fun. Wear the team colors. Sweatshirts with team logos are available at sports stores and department stores. Buy pompoms at toy stores. Some cheerleaders carry megaphones, but if you go trick-or-treating, carrying pompoms, a megaphone and a bucket can get tricky. If someone asks for a cheer, spell out “Halloween Rocks” or “Boo” for a festive cheer. Cheerleader costumes work well for any age. Put on the sweatshirt and skirt. The sweatshirt should be long enough that when your arms reach up, your midriff does not show. Put on the socks and tennis shoes. Tie the shoes tightly to avoid tripping on loose laces. Pull hair back into a ponytail with the ponytail holder. The ponytail can go on top of the head, to the side or sit low. Tie the two scarves around the ponytail holder. Spread body glitter over your cheeks and in your hair. Carry two pompoms. Pompoms with stick-out handles are easier to carry.
