How Do You Make A Cheap Baby Sling?
Slings are extremely popular with “Hollywood Moms”, here is how to make your own! You won’t spend a bundle, and you probably have all of the materials right in your own home! Step 1 (Skip step if using Twin sheet) Take your sheet and cut it in half so it is between 3 and 4 ft long. Step 2 Fold the newly cut sheet in half, place the center of the sheet on the “baby wearer’s” hip. Step 3 Take the portion of the sheet in front of you and pull it to the opposite shoulder (ie. if the sheet is on your left hip bring the end to your right shoulder)Pull the back portion of the sheet up across your back to meet the front portion and tie the ends at the shoulder. Step 4 Open the fold at your hip and you now have a sling for baby! Step 5 NEWBORNS- Place newborn in the fold, baby will curl up into a ball just at or below the chest line (great for discreet breastfeeding) Step 6 BIGGER BABIES- Once your baby is able to sit up on their own you may place them in the pouch sitting on your hip, position
