How Do You Make A Character Birthday Cake For A Child?
Most every child loves a theme birthday party. You may be surprised how easy it is to make character birthday cakes at home without buying special pans and following complicated instructions. I have included a picture of the Hello Kitty cake I made for my daughter’s party, but you can apply these instructions to your child’s favorite character. I have also made Elmo, Batman, Pooh, and many others. Find a picture of the character you wish to use. You can use a coloring page from a coloring book, or print one out from a website that publishes them. I have provided a link to one I use. Make sure the image is the right size for your cake. You can enlarge it on a copier, if needed. Make the cake according to the package directions, invert it out of the pan onto the cake board, then frost.
