How Do You Make A Chain Stitch (Ch)?
Very simple crochet instructions for a chain stitch. The chain stitch is easy to learn and teach, and makes for a bit of good practice for beginners. Although it is very easy to do it does take sometime to learn how to keep the chains all the same size. First you’ll want to start by making a slip knot. Heres how to do that: Make a loop with your yarn, then hook another loop through that one. Tighten a little and slide the knot up the hook a bit. Next, for the chain stitch you want to (yoh) hook the yarn, coming from the ball, and pull it through the loop to form a new loop. While doing this try not to tighten up the previous one. You should now have one chain (ch) stitch made and one loop on the hook. Continue as many times as you need to perfect it, or follow your patterns guide.
