Traditional boomerangs are made of wood and are roughly triangular in shape. Anything that can be thrown and made to come back can be considered a boomerang. You can even make a boomerang out of CDs. Place four CDs on a flat surface. Put one of the CDs in the middle of your work area. Apply some glue to a second CD. Cover only about half of the lower right-hand quarter of the CD. Place the glued area of this CD on top of the upper left-hand quarter of the other CD. You want the CD with the glue to cover only the outer half of the left-hand quarter of the other CD. In other words, it should not reach all the way to the center of the first CD. Press the two CDs together and let the glue begin to set.
