How Do You Make A Cardboard Toy Stove?
You don’t have to spend a lot of money on toys to make a child happy or stimulate his imagination. Common household objects that would otherwise end up in the trash can make toys that are fun and engaging. One project is turning an old box into a toy stove. This a great way to recycle, reduce household waste, save money on toys and promote creativity. Step 1 Check the top and bottom flaps of a large cardboard box. Use a hot glue gun to seal any open flaps shut and secure them so that they are flat. Turn the box upside down. Step 2 Take a large, flat piece of cardboard that is larger than the box. Cut it so that it is equal to the width of the box, but about four inches taller. Glue the backing to the box with a hot glue gun. Step 3 Use a ruler to mark three lines on the front face of the stove. Two should be vertical, 2 inches from the edges of the stove. One should be horizontal, going from the top end of one vertical line to the other. It should be 3 inches below the top of the stove
