Dad will dig this good-smelling and thoughtful gift for his car. Cut a piece of thin fabric into a 12-inch-by-9-inch rectangle. Fold the long side of the fabric in half so that the printed sides are facing each other. This should make a 6-inch-by-9-inch “pocket.” Sew one short side and the long side closed, leaving the last short side open. Fold the edges of the open side down and iron them so that they’ll stay in place. Turn the bag right side out. Fill the bag with potpourri or coffee beans. Add a hanger by stitching a loop of elastic to a corner. Stitch the sachet closed by hand.
