Another great advantage of this candy cane ornament is that it will last a long time so for many years you can look back and remember the fun you had helping you little one make this great craft. To make a candy cane ornament you will first need to take a piece of red pipe cleaner. The length of pipe cleaner will depend on the finished size of your candy cane. I find that four to five inches works best. Start by placing a red tri bead on the end of your pipe cleaner and bend the pipe cleaner around so that it holds the bead in place. You can use a little hot glue to keep the bead in place if you would prefer.
