How Do You Make A Cafe Macchiato?
“Now we are going to learn how to make a traditional Cafe Macchiato. Please don’t get that confused with the Latte Macchiato because it is a totally different thing. Basically, what a Cafe Macchiato is, is a single shot of espresso with a little bit of foam on top of it. So it pretty much looks like a miniature cappuccino. We are going to start with doing our shot. Just like you were doing with espresso, you want to make sure that it’s the perfect espresso. While you are pulling your shot, we are going to steam the milk. You don’t have to put too much but you can put too little because otherwise it won’t really foam. So just treat the steam frosted just like you were doing it for a cappuccino. Good thing to do is make sure all the bubbles are going by tapping your pitcher down on the table. Then with just a little spoon, you just spoon out a little dollop of foam or two. There we we go.
