For this valentine wreath, I chose to use buttons that were only red and white and I chose a kind of traditional, a kind of frilly red and white ribbon. You can also find very specific ribbons, this one is very pretty, and it says “my favorite valentine” or you could use a solid red or a solid white. Once you choose your ribbon, you want to put it through your wreath and you need to start on the backside, weave your ribbon through, covering the joint, going to the front side, all the way through until you come all the way around. If you are using a ribbon that is definitely two-sided and one of them is the side you prefer, you need to be especially careful to keep the side up that you want to show and that was really important with this ribbon.
