Lay the jeans out flat. Cut each leg off just above the crotch seam. Make sure to use a straight cut. Try to avoid cutting through any pockets. Set the legs aside. Turn the blue jeans inside out. Pin the bottom closed. Sew across the bottom, leaving a 1/2-inch seam allowance. Cut the bottom hem off each leg along the seam. If done carefully, you will not need to sew handles for the bag.
