How Do You Make A Blue (Bleu) Cheese Ball?
This is a basic blue (bleu) cheese ball recipe, that can easily be whipped up without a huge hassle. I’ve included the black olives and pecans as optional since not everyone is a fan of those. Feel free to play with the basic recipe and add things you like, depending on your taste: chopped onions, worchestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, etc. Get creative. Great for the holidays. Enjoy. Mix the blue cheese, butter, cream cheese, and garlic together. Optional Step: Chop the black olives and add to the cheese mixture. Form the cheese into a ball and place it on wax paper or glass plate. Put the cheese ball into the refrigerator to chill. Optional Step: If you’re using chopped pecans, remove cheese ball from the refrigerator after about an hour and roll it in chopped pecans. Keep the cheese ball in the refrigerator until it is time to serve. Tastes delicious with crackers such as triscuits, wheat thins, or ritz.
