Many people do not know they can make their own bleach sanitizing solution for a few pennies instead of spending several dollars for a commercially prepared sanitizer. It is simple and easy and very effective. You can sanitize surfaces, toys, handles and anything else that might be carrying disease causing germs. Wash anything you wish to sanitize with soap and water before applying a bleach solution. Chlorine looses its effectiveness around oils and dirt. The sanitizing is the last step of the cleaning process. Disinfect food surfaces and utensils with a solution of 1 tsp of bleach to 1 quart of water.
