Dressing like a feline, whether for Halloween or another fun occasion, is a fun way to express your inner kitty. As far as costumes go, dressing like a cat will afford you comfort and ease of movement. A few strategically placed accessories and a ready-made leotard or sweat suit will easily transform you from human to animal in a wink. Adding plenty of purrrs and a few meows will certainly polish off the whole look. Shop for an all black sweat suit or leotard to use as the base of your costume. Try on the pants of your base outfit and mark where the tail should go. Cut a strip of the black felt for the tail of the costume, about 4 inches in width and as long as you desire. Fold in half and sew or glue with fabric glue to make a cylindrical tube. Stuff the tube with batting. Sew up both ends of the tube so batting is secured inside.
