An easy way to make a cake and let baby have their own cake-without breaking the bank! Buy a cake mix and icing of your choice. Be sure you have all the ingredients you need. Make the cake as directed but spoon some of the batter into a cupcake pan. Cook both as instructed. Let cool then apply icing to cake. Set cupcake on top of cake and apply icing and the 1 year old candle. When “happy birthday” is finished serve the entire cupcake to the baby to capture that “first cake” moment.
