With some ¾-inch schedule 40 PVC pipe, and a little time, you can make a lightweight bike rack that will help keep your bike upright and out of the way. You’ll need: • 2 – 22 ¾-inch pieces of pipe for the wheel uprights • 2 – 12 ½-inch pieces of pipe for the wheel base • 4 – 7-inch pieces of pipe for the base • 5 – 1 ¼-inch pieces of pipe • 6 – 90 degree PVC pipe elbows • 6 – PVC pipe tees • PVC glue/cement TIPS: To assemble, use PVC glue/cement before attaching pieces.
