Building an HDTV antenna will allow you to receive the local HD broadcasts in your area. The two key parts to a solid, receiving antenna are the elements and the reflector. The elements, when cut to the right length and shaped properly, help to pull in the weaker signals. The reflector is used to bounce the signals as they pass by back to the elements, providing a boost in the signal reception. Measure and then cut the 2 x 4 wood to 40 inches long, using the saw.
