Renovating a lampshade with beads can give a whole new look to your lamps and your room’s decor. Lampshade beading starts as a time consuming craft. However, the more you do it, the faster you get. Start your craft with a new wire lampshade frame, or remove the material from an old lampshade and use the frame. Cut one 72-inch length of wire with wire cutters. Wrap one end of the wire around a spoke at the bottom of the lampshade until it is tightly secured. Make a small loop that hangs down from the bottom of the shade. Wrap the wire around the bottom edge of the shade. Space the loops 1 inch apart until the entire bottom of the frame is wrapped. Cut another 90 inches of wire. Secure one end of the wire to a spoke at the top of the lampshade. Slide beads onto the wire until they fill the space between the spokes. Wrap the wire around the second spoke. Continue to add beads and wrap the wire around the spokes until the lampshade is filled. Adjust each row so that it fits snugly against
