These instructions are for fabric purchased by the yard. If you are using sheets, just eliminate the need for a pieced center panel. Use these steps to create a full-size comforter. Add or subtract inches for alternate sizes. Measure and cut four lengths of the yardage fabric 89 inches long. Set two of the 89-inch lengths aside. These are the middle panels for the front and back of the basic comforter. Measure and cut the other two lengths into four pieces measuring 19 inches wide by 89 inches long.
