Use the ball from a winning game or first run (make sure the player says this is ok!) to create this one-of-a-kind accessory. Step 1 Work carefully with a craft knife and cut along both sides of the stitching on the baseball. Go slowly and make deep cuts. Step 2 Use the knife to lift the stitching away from the baseball after all the cuts have been made around the seam stitching. Pull the row of stitching up and away from the core of the baseball in one continuous piece. Step 3 Place the stitching in a basin of water and let it soak. Wait an hour and remove the stitching.
