How Do You Make A Balloon Bouquet For Mothers Day?
Mother’s Day is a time to show your Mom how much you appreciate her. Why not add a touch of whimsy this year by making her a balloon bouquet? You can make a bouquet to set into a vase or add to a floral container for a larger display. You can use small to medium sized balloons. It is not necessary to use helium for a balloon arrangement. You can make one that will last for days with a small balloon hand pump. You might want to purchase a Mylar balloon with a Mother’s Day message as a focal point. Inflate the balloons that you have chosen for your bouquet. Hand tie off each balloon tightly with a double knot to keep air from being released. Pick up a skewer. Hold the tied end of a balloon next to the top of the stick. Wrap floral tape around the knotted area of the balloon and the top of the skewer until the balloon stands fully upright. Be sure to start the tape at an angle and wrap it tightly as you move down the stick. Place a piece of foam in the neck of a vase or into a container.
