Making a towel cake is fairly simple and leaves some room for creativity and personalization in the colors you choose and embellishments you add. Take a white towel and lay it out on a flat surface, lengthwise, so the longest sides of the towel reach out left to right as you look at it. Smooth it down so the edges are all flat. Fold the top of the towel in one quarter toward you. Fold the bottom of the towel up one quarter. Repeat again and fold each side (top and bottom) in one quarter. Then fold the towel in half in the same manner. Repeat with a second towel. Stack the towels on top of one another. Start on one end and roll the towels tightly, smooth down the towels
