While the exact origins of the B 52 drink are somewhat unclear, there is general agreement that the name is connected with the B-52 bombers that were commonly used during the Vietnam War. The general idea is that the B 52 drink has a huge impact, in spite of the fact that the drink utilizes only three simple ingredients. Pour a layer of Amaretto into the shot glass.
