A popular way to make snow flakes is folding a piece of paper, cutting out some shapes and then opening it up to find a unique design; these snowflakes are nice to cover classroom windows or children’s rooms. But another design for a snowflake is a six pointed snowflake that can hang from a ceiling and made unique with glitter, colored paper or designs. Take six pieces of construction paper and cut into 6 squares. If using typical 8 1/2-by-11-inch paper, simply take a corner and place it to opposite side so it is in a triangle. You will have about two inches left on top so cut this portion off. Start with one square and fold in half. Hold base of triangle. Starting at the outside cut three smaller triangles. Do NOT cut all the way through the paper. The tips of each triangle should still be connected. Open paper up so fold is horizontal.
