How Do You Make A 3D Plant Cell Model With Clay?

You first need to make a model that then you can cover it up with clay. I have worked with clay before, and it is very hard if you dont have a base to cover it up with clay. This is what I think I would do. 1. I would do a half a cell, like if a cell were cut in half (looking like a bowl with lid), so on the “lid of the bowl” you can mold the shape of vacuoles, nucleus, chloroplasts, etc. 2. As the base of the half of the cell I would use a round Tupperware with lid (a tupperware that looks like a bowl). 3. Then I would cover it all with wet newspaper or a net with wholes (like chicken wire) to make the clay stick to the tupperware, and then with clay and let it dry. 4. Once it is dry, I would use wet newspaper to make the shape of the organelles. 5. Cover the organelles with clay and let it dry. 6. Paint it as a cell would look like. I think it would look very nice! If you get to do it, could you post a pic to see it? Im so curious! I hope I helped!
