The Aztec empire stretched from Mexico deep into central America. The Aztecs had military, economic and social control over this area for hundreds of years. They created a unique civilization with a distinct castle architecture. You can build an impressive model of a 3D Aztec castle to serve as an interesting historical replica and a beautiful work of art. Take a look at an image of an Aztec castle before you make anything (see Resources). Get a feel for the proportions and overall design of an Aztec castle. Aztec castles are architecturally quite distinct from European or Asian castles. Cut a base for the castle out of Styrofoam (see Resources to purchase Styrofoam blocks).
