• Try not to go from long, long hair to a short buzz cut type of hair. Chances are you won’t like such a drastic change. With short hair you can do something funky with it, use hair products, and experiment with color. • Make sure you have a style you like. It’s easier to deal with something you like than something you don’t like. • Use a hair dryer and put in products like mousse and gels before you dry it, and things like putty and hairspray afterwards – any product that works for you. Short hair isn’t so much of a wash and go that looks good. Short hair does not take long to dry. Pull your look together with clothes or make up that goes with your new cut. Short hair shows off more neck, so wear something that shows your neck line. V-necks and scoop necks are great.
