How Do You Made Homemade Spiced Orange Tea?

0

This recipe for homemade spiced orange tea is fantastic. It makes quite a bit, so you have it on hand when you want to enjoy a fresh cup of tea. This spiced orange tea is great for a cold day inside. Crush 2 1/2 teaspoons of whole cloves until it is small bits. Don’t leave big pieces, yet don’t turn it into a powder either. Crush up 10 inches of cinnamon sticks into small bits. Just like the cloves, don’t turn it into a powdery mess. Finely chop 4 tablespoons of candied ginger. Now mix the crushed whole cloves, the crushed cinnamon sticks, and the finely chopped candied ginger to 1 lb of orange pekoe tea. Now add 4 tablespoons of dried orange peel and 1 teaspoon of nutmeg to the orange tea mixture. Use one 1 teaspoon of this spiced orange tea product for each cup of tea. Steep it for 10 minutes. Add sweetener if preferred. Store any remaining tea in an airtight container, in a cool place (possibly the refrigerator).
