You can most certainly lose weight without exercising. Just as you can stay the same weight and exercise 5 to 7 days a week (I know because I exercised that much for over a year and lost nothing-I felt great though). You just have to watch your calorie intake. Some people will say watch carbs, others watch fat, other yet will say no sugar. Everyone has conflicting views on what works. But science can tell you what absolutely does work. Cut your calories. Go to a website and get your daily caloric intact need. Then you have to consume less calories than that to lose weight. But, you can’t dip too low or your body will go into starvation mode. You will still lose weight, but not as quickly as you would had you ate more. Losing weight isn’t too complicated. People make it complicated by trying to find a magic bullet. Consuming less calories is the thing that maters most. Exercising will only rev up your metabolism and make you overall healthier.

Try the “no sugar, no flour” which is basically lthe ow carb diet. In my experience you drop the weight quickest with this diet. I lost 55 lbs in 6 months on this diet. 10 of them I dropped in the first month. Although I did exercise often I’m sure you can still drop a substantial amount of weight without the exercise. The first 3 weeks will be really hard. Especially if you normally eat a lot of sugar, but once you get past the 3 week hump it becomes normal and is much easier. If you do it correctly (don’t cheat) the weight will drop fast which will give you more motivation to continue. Good luck!
