The thermal fuse in a Kenmore dryer is simple enough for even the inexperienced to locate. Disconnect your Kenmore dryer from its power source before attempting to locate the thermal fuse. Move the Kenmore dryer away from the wall. Give yourself enough room to work behind the dryer comfortably. Unscrew the screws on the back of the dryer to remove the rear panel.
