How Do You Load The String In A Weed Whacker Speed Head?
Speed Heads in weed whackers are designed to provide a constant supply of trimmer line to the user with a simple bump of the head on the ground. This save a lot of time when it comes to changing string or fixing snags in the line. Speed Heads often have two cutting strings versus one in traditional heads. This reduces wear on the strings and more powerful cutting abilities. Remove the trimmer Speed Head from the weed whacker. Open the trimmer head and place the cover to the side. Cut two six foot lengths of trimmer line. Mount or clip one length of trimmer line to the interior of the trimmer head. Speed Heads have two levels for each length of string. Each level will have a notch for mounting the line. Start with the top level. Wrap the trimmer line in the proper direction. The proper direction will be marked on the interior of the trimmer head.
