As Christians, we are required to live by the law, or by God’s commandments. In Galatians 5:22,23 He says to live by these requirements:love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, goodness, gentleness and self control. And although it’s not easy, here are some practical ways of doing that. First and foremost, ask God to give you peace in your hearts and minds. The Bible says, ‘A heart at peace gives life to the body’ (Prov. 14:30). If we have peace in our hearts, we also have joy, physically and mentally, no matter what happens to us and where we are in our lives. Peace is not only quiet in the room and a calm demeanor on the outside but it is quiet and patience in your heart even when things are not going your way.
