It seems now that most everyone has been touched by unemployment in some form. Either in your own household or a friend or relative. I want to help with some ideas that have been helpful for my family. Please note that you might have to adjust the ideas to meet your needs. I lost my job in September ’08 and my husband lost his job in May of this year. We have been lucky in the fact that he has another job now. It is less pay but we are thrilled that he has a job. I am still looking. This is part three of my articles. I hope these help you or a friend. Cut back on taking long, hot showers. I know it feels heavenly but when we started timing our showers to see what worked best for each of us, we saved six dollars on our water bill. Everyone is different so get a kitchen timer to see what will work for you. Turn off the water while you are brushing your teeth. I use to let the water run while I brushed but I stopped doing that.
