How Do You Live By The Golden Rule?
It seems an easy enough thing to do, that is to “FOLLOW THE GOLDEN RULE,” but like any other game, you cannot play until you know what the rules are. Rules are also made to be broken, so when this happens, just vow to try harder. If everyone in the universe were to live by these words, imagine how nice a world it would be in which to live? PUT OTHERS FIRST: By putting someone else’s needs before your own, you are most certainly following the “golden rule.” Try letting someone cut into traffic from a parking lot in front of you instead of ignoring them and blocking the driveway. AT THE GROCERY STORE: If you are not in a dire rush, let the person with an armload of stuff go in front of you, step aside and let them go ahead of you, especially if they appear to be in a hurry.
