Lining a pinafore will hide the seams for a tailored finish while providing structure and versatility. You can use matching or contrasting material for the lining. Just mark the lining pieces with a fabric marker or chalk so you know which is which when you sew them together. Cut out the pinafore according to your pattern, cutting two sets of the bodice and skirt pieces. Mark the lining in some way, if you’re using the same fabric for both.
