The Harman Pellet Pro 38 Plus Pellet Stove, also known as model “PP38+” and “P38,” supplies between 7,000 and 38,000 BTUs of energy. The P38 uses any grade of pellet and has a feeding system that deposits a precise amount of pellets into the unit’s burn pot based on an owner’s personal preferences. Unlike other P-Series models, Harman has designed the P38 without an automatic ignition, but this in no way detracts from the efficiency or ease-of-use of the unit. Lighting a fire in the P38 stove requires only preparation, pellets, Harman-approved starting gel and matches. Remove any materials that can burn out of the ash pan, if previously owned or used, with an ash brush or scraper. In addition, check for combustibles around the hopper/hopper extension hinges and nearby ledge.
